Parameters SIDE SIDE is CHARACTER*1 = 'L': apply Q or Q^T from the Left; = 'R': apply Q or Q^T from the Right. TRANS TRANS is CHARACTER*1 = 'N': No transpose, apply Q; = 'T': Transpose, apply Q^T.
