polkitd.conf \- The polkit system daemon configuration file

The
\fBpolkitd\&.conf\fR
file is the configuration file for the
\fBpolkitd\fR
system daemon\&. The configuration format is INI style, with sections and key=value pairs\&.

The configuration file located at
/etc/polkit\-1/polkitd\&.conf
has the highest precedence, if found\&. If not,
/run/polkit\-1/polkitd\&.conf
will be used\&. If neither file is found,
/usr/lib/polkit\-1/polkitd\&.conf
will be used\&. If no configuration file is found, default settings compiled into
\fBpolkitd\fR
will be used\&.
