       o name: name of the source, to be prefixed

       o source_name: name for the source

       o source_properties: properties for the source

       o namereg_fail: when false attempt to synthesise new source_name if it
         is already taken

       o device: ALSA device

       o device_id: ALSA card index

       o format: sample format

       o rate: sample rate

       o alternate_rate: alternate sample rate

       o channels: number of channels

       o channel_map: channel map

       o fragments: number of fragments

       o fragment_size: fragment size

       o mmap: enable memory mapping?

       o tsched: enable system timer based scheduling mode?

       o tsched_buffer_size: buffer size when using timer based scheduling

       o tsched_buffer_watermark: lower fill watermark

       o control: name of mixer control, or name and index separated by a
         comma

       o rewind_safeguard: number of bytes that cannot be rewound

       o deferred_volume: Synchronize software and hardware volume changes to
         avoid momentary jumps?

       o deferred_volume_safety_margin: usec adjustment depending on volume
         direction

       o deferred_volume_extra_delay: usec adjustment to HW volume changes
