NVME-DEVICE-SELF-(1) NVMe Manual NVME-DEVICE-SELF-(1) NAME nvme-device-self-test - Perform the necessary tests to observe the performance and the parameters SYNOPSIS nvme device-self-test [--namespace-id= | -n ] [--self-test-code= | -s ] [--wait | -w] [--output-format= | -o ] [--verbose | -v] DESCRIPTION Initiates the required test based on the user input. The parameter is mandatory and may be either the NVMe character device (ex: /dev/nvme0), or a namespace block device (ex: /dev/nvme0n1). On success, the corresponding test is initiated.
