Deprecated alias for \fBnvme-keys-check-kxchap-secret\fR(1), kept for scripts written against nvme\-cli versions older than 3\&.0\&. It takes the one option nvme\-cli 2\&.x took, \fI\-\-key\fR/\fI\-k\fR, and passes the secret to that command\&. Exit codes match 2\&.x, but \fIKey is valid\fR, \fIKey is loaded\fR and \fIKey is not loaded\fR are now \fISecret is \&...\fR, and the validation errors say secret where they said key, so a script matching the old wording needs updating\&.

\fI\-\-keydata\fR, \fI\-\-keyring\fR, \fI\-\-keytype\fR and \fI\-\-identity\fR are reachable only under \fInvme keys check\-kxchap\-secret\fR\&. With no \fI\-\-key\fR the secret is read from stdin, where 2\&.x reported \fIKey not specified\fR\&.

New scripts should use \fInvme keys check\-kxchap\-secret\fR instead\&. This alias prints a deprecation warning on stderr and may be removed in a future release\&.
