The protocol originates from Cyber Energy that apparently developed the protocol for their UPS and it was used then by various other vendors (that in some cases they just re\-brand the Cyber Energy products)\&.

The \fBnutdrv_hashx\fR driver is expected to work with various UPSes from \fIAblerex\fR, \fIAtlantis Land\fR, \fIEpyc\fR, \fIInfosec\fR, \fIION\fR, \fIPowerWalker\fR, \fIRight Power Technology\fR, \fISalicru\fR, \fIUPS Solutions\fR and various others\&.

Long story short: if your UPS came with a software called \fIPowerMaster+\fR (or the older \fIPowerMaster\fR and \fIPowerGuide\fR), chances are high that it works with this driver\&.

Only devices with a serial interface are supported\&.
