GT-LABEL-EDIT(1) gitea-cli Manual GT-LABEL-EDIT(1)

gt-label-edit - Edit a label

gt label edit <label> [flags]

Edit the name, color or description of a label, or whether it is exclusive or archived. Without flags on a terminal, a form edits the name, color and description, starting from their current values.

A label can be supplied by its name, such as "bug" or "kind/feature", or by its ID. A
number is an ID first, then a name.

color, description, exclusive, id, is_archived, name

--archived[=false] Archive the label so that it cannot be applied anymore

--by-name[=false] Match a numeric argument as a label name rather than an ID

-c, --color="" Color as six hexadecimal digits, such as d73a4a

-d, --description="" Description of the label

--exclusive[=false] Allow only one label of its scope, such as priority/high, per issue

-h, --help[=false] help for edit

-n, --name="" Rename the label

--csv[=""] Output CSV with the specified comma-separated fields, or all fields

--cwd="" Working directory for repository discovery

--debug[=false] Log the method, URL, status, and duration of each HTTP request to stderr

--host="" Gitea instance URL, including any base path

--interactive[=false] Allow prompts with machine output

-q, --jq="" Filter JSON output using a jq expression; implies --json

--json[=""] Output JSON with the specified comma-separated fields, or all fields

--no-input[=false] Disable prompts and implicit editor/browser interactions

--org="" Manage the labels of an organization instead of a repository

--remote="" Git remote used for repository discovery

-R, --repo="" Select a repository as OWNER/REPO or URL

--sudo="" Perform API requests as this user (requires an administrator account)

--user="" Account name on the selected instance
