NAME

glab-orbit-update - Update the GitLab Orbit CLI binary to the latest version. (EXPERIMENTAL)

SYNOPSIS

glab orbit update [flags]

DESCRIPTION

Checks for a newer GitLab Orbit CLI version and installs it. If the binary is not installed yet, glab downloads the latest version.

Updates do not apply when you use a custom binary set with GLAB_ORBIT_CLI_BINARY_PATH or the orbit_cli_binary_path configuration key.

glab orbit --update does the same thing.

This feature is an experiment and is not ready for production use. It might be unstable or removed at any time. For more information, see https://docs.gitlab.com/policy/development_stages_support/.

OPTIONS

-y, --yes[=false] Skip the download prompt when the binary is not installed.

EXAMPLE

glab orbit update
