GT-PR-EDIT(1) gitea-cli Manual GT-PR-EDIT(1)

gt-pr-edit - Edit a pull request

gt pr edit [<number> | <url> | <branch>] [flags]

Edit the title, body, base branch, reviewers, labels, assignees, milestone or due date of a pull request, or mark it as a draft or ready for review. Without flags on a terminal, a form edits the title, base branch, body, assignees, milestone, labels and due date, starting from their current values, and sends only what changed.

Gitea changes the milestone, assignees and due date only for people who can write to the pull requests of the repository, and leaves them as they were for the author of a pull request who cannot: gt then names the flags or form fields it left out and fails. Gitea refuses their label changes outright, so gt sends the other changes first.

A pull request can be supplied as argument in any of the following formats:
- by number, such as "13" or "#13"
- by URL, such as "https://gitea.com/OWNER/REPO/pulls/13"
- by the name of its head branch, such as "feature/login" or "bob:feature/login"; a branch that
reads as OWNER/REPO#N, such as "fix/login#2", needs the OWNER:BRANCH form
Without an argument, the pull request of the current branch is selected.
