GT-LABEL-CREATE(1) gitea-cli Manual GT-LABEL-CREATE(1)

gt-label-create - Create a label

gt label create <name> [flags]

Create a label. Without --color, the label gets a random color. A label with the same name, ignoring case, is refused unless --force updates it. Without a name on a terminal, prompts ask for the name, color and description.

color, description, exclusive, id, is_archived, name

--archived[=false] Archive the label so that it cannot be applied anymore

-c, --color="" Color as six hexadecimal digits, such as d73a4a

-d, --description="" Description of the label

--exclusive[=false] Allow only one label of its scope, such as priority/high, per issue

-f, --force[=false] Update the label if one with the same name exists

-h, --help[=false] help for create

--csv[=""] Output CSV with the specified comma-separated fields, or all fields

--cwd="" Working directory for repository discovery

--debug[=false] Log the method, URL, status, and duration of each HTTP request to stderr

--host="" Gitea instance URL, including any base path

--interactive[=false] Allow prompts with machine output

-q, --jq="" Filter JSON output using a jq expression; implies --json

--json[=""] Output JSON with the specified comma-separated fields, or all fields

--no-input[=false] Disable prompts and implicit editor/browser interactions

--org="" Manage the labels of an organization instead of a repository

--remote="" Git remote used for repository discovery

-R, --repo="" Select a repository as OWNER/REPO or URL

--sudo="" Perform API requests as this user (requires an administrator account)

--user="" Account name on the selected instance
