dnf5-autoremove - Autoremove Command

dnf5 autoremove

The autoremove command in DNF5 is used for removing unneeded packages from the system.

Unneeded packages are all "leaf" packages that were originally installed as dependencies of user-installed packages, but which are no longer required by any such package.

Installonly packages (e.g. kernels) are never automatically removed by this command even if they were installed as dependencies.

Store the transaction to be performed offline. See offline command <#offline-command-ref-label>, dnf5-offline(8).
Store the current transaction in a directory at the specified PATH instead of running it.
The stored transaction can be performed by the replay command <#replay-command-ref-label>, dnf5-replay(8).
