Conway recommends employing \f(CW\*(C`use parent qw(Foo)\*(C'\fR instead of the usual
\&\f(CW\*(C`our @ISA = qw(Foo)\*(C'\fR because the former happens at compile time and
the latter at runtime.  The parent pragma also automatically loads
\&\f(CW\*(C`Foo\*(C'\fR for you so you save a line of easily-forgotten code.
